My approach and style

My counseling approach, has it's center around a humanistic perspective, where you, the client, are the focal point of our work. I firmly believe in everyone's inherent capacity for healing, given the appropriate conditions. My goal is to offer you a safe and calm space to process your experiences at your own pace, integrating anxiety-related tools to help you navigate the emotional, behavioral, and reactive impacts of anxiety.

During our initial session, I'll discuss with you deeper my therapeutic approach and provide you with the opportunity to ask any questions you might have. We'll discuss the reasons that brought you to therapy and explore your objectives. By the session's end, we'll collaboratively determine if we are a good fit to work together. Take all the time you need to decide if you're ready to embark on this therapeutic journey.

In my practice, I blend various therapeutic modalities, including the Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, and Emotion Focused Individual Therapy. Additionally, I may incorporate mediation techniques when appropriate, always ensuring thorough communication beforehand to clarify the purpose and potential benefits.

I look forward to the possibility of working together and supporting you in your journey toward healing.

Therapy Types & Modalities

Online counselling

I provide online counselling sessions across Australia, using secure, reliable, and easy-to-use video platforms. Many people prefer online sessions because it’s more convenient, private, and more accessible to people who are busy, work from home or live in remote areas.

I will provide you with additional information regarding online sessions if you decide to engage in online counselling.

Who I work with

I work with women age 18 and above who experience anxiety, especially high-functioning anxiety, .

I also work with women who tend to burnout, people-please, procrastinate, socially isolate which result in low self-worth, more anxiety and depression.

Counselling can help you process your anxiety, reduce self-destructive behaviours, strengthen your relationships and improve emotional self-regulation. Embracing anxiety can help you build a better future.

I want you to remember that you are not your anxiety, but untreated anxiety can cause complications throughout your life if left untreated. In our work together I can help you work through your experience, allowing you to process it in a safe way and getting you to live the life you deserve.
